What is Softwave therapy?
Softwave therapy, powered by the TRT OrthoGold 100 is an exciting, breakthrough treatment option in the field of regenerative medicine. It is an advanced, effective, non-invasive and safe way to treat painful musculoskeletal conditions, degenerative conditions and chronic pain. All without needles, anesthesia, medicine or hospitalization.
It is also often referred to as the “Stem Cell Machine” because it penetrates tissues and stimulates stem cells and growth factors in the body that are responsible for muscle and connective tissue healing.
What is treatment like?
First, we put warm gel around the treatment area and then use the applicator to apply high-energy sound waves to injured, degenerated and/or painful areas to dramatically reduce pain and increase mobility and function. Treatment typically only takes 10-15 minutes, and in many cases only 3-5 treatments are needed. For more chronic conditions, a total of 8 treatments may be indicated. Your doctor will discuss your specific treatment plan with you before you begin.
What results can I expect?
Many patients report immediate pain relief after only 1-2 treatments. The technology has a high success rate based on clinical studies. Depending on the severity of your symptoms, most patients experience significant or complete pain relief after the full course of treatment is finished.
Are there any possible side effects?
Patients can return to work immediately after treatment and there is typically no downtime and no side effects.
