Restoring Balance

From Pain to Performance

From Softwave therapy and spinal decompression treatment to rehabilitative exercises, we have everything you need to get back in the game, and stay out of pain for the long haul.

Softwave Therapy

The TRT OrthoGold 100 is an exciting, breakthrough treatment option in the field of regenerative medicine. It is an advanced, effective, non-invasive and safe way to treat painful musculoskeletal conditions, degenerative conditions and chronic pain, all without needles, anesthesia, medicine or expensive hospitalization.
This “stem cell machine,” as it has been called, delivers the most effective Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) available. During treatment, high energy sound waves are applied to painful and injured areas of the body to dramatically stimulate healing and regeneration. It works by helping to improve your body’s own healing capability by enhancing blood circulation and stem cell activity to regenerate damaged tissue. Beneficial effects are often experienced in only one or two treatments and there is no downtime. This non-surgical treatment can eliminate pain, restore mobility and significantly improve quality of life in our patients.

Anatomy In Motion (AIM)

Anatomy in Motion (AIM) is a system of gait analysis and gait correction where we look at what every joint in the body is doing in each phase of gait. Based on this information, we can see breakdowns in movement that are likely causing pain. After an injury, the body often adopts an altered “center.” The body can maintain this perceived center for years, which can cause muscle and joint pain in other areas.
By helping your body remember it’s true center, pain during motion is often relieved and range of motion is restored. This is truly a unique way of looking at the body and helping the body heal itself. We are proud to be one of the few AIM providers in Oklahoma.

Class IV Laser Therapy

We use Class IV Laser therapy, which is a warm laser, as opposed to cold. Our lasers put out 10 watts of power, which is 20 times more powerful than traditional “cold lasers.”

What this means for the patient is that this laser technology penetrates much deeper into the body and delivers a more therapeutic dose.

We are proud to use some of the most researched therapy lasers in the industry. Because they reach deep into the tissues, it is ideal for treating sprains and strains, arthritis, calcified muscles and fibrotic adhesions, as well as intra-articular tissues inside of the joints. Treatment only takes 5-15 minutes, and many patients experience significant improvement with 3-5 treatment sessions.

Mckenzie Diagnostic Therapy

Patients often come to us with back and neck pain, many times questioning if they need diagnostic imaging (X-Rays, MRI etc.) before receiving treatment.

With the Mckenzie Diagnostic Method, we can use a series of simple movements to assess the level of limitation or pain a patient is experiencing in certain positions. Then, we can classify these conditions based on the results and often eliminate the need for expensive and invasive diagnostic testing.

This helps us determine the source of the problem quickly, and then we can give the patient individualized exercises to help strengthen the surrounding structures, ultimately relieving pain, and improving functional strength and range of motion. Patients love this approach because it saves them time and money, and gets them on the road to recovery faster.

Sports & Kinesiology Taping

If you are a runner or an athlete, you know taping is the name of the game. We use kinesiology tape along with five other tape types in our office to help…

our athletes perform even while recovering from an injury.

The tape we use is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting range of motion. From minor aches and pains to significant injuries, the type of tape and application method matters, and can help prevent overuse while healing. We also have more than 25 different tape colors and patterns so you can have a little fun and get fixed up at the same time.

Kennedy Decompression Technique

Spinal decompression is a highly effective, non-invasive, non-surgical, traction-based treatment protocol for herniated or bulging disks in the neck, middle back, and lower back.

Decompression therapy can also help those who suffer from spinal stenosis or sciatica. Our decompression system (Kennedy Decompression Neural-Flex) also has the capability to decompress joints including ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, wrists, etc.

Your specific treatment plan, including the number of sessions needed will be determined by our providers during your examination. In almost all cases, treatments are completely painless, and many patients fall asleep during the spinal decompression session. To reduce inflammation and assist in the healing process, we also treat supporting structures in the body with heat, laser treatment, chiropractic adjustments, and active rehabilitation to strengthen spine and core muscles.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Using oxygen therapy in a high pressure atmosphere has been shown to have extraordinary health benefits.

Using a higher concentration of oxygen in a high pressure atmosphere has been shown to have extraordinary health benefits.

We have seen remarkable results treating traumatic brain injuries, concussions, inflammatory conditions, sports recovery, fatigue, and many other conditions. Most recently, with the Covid-19 virus, we have used this therapy in treating patients suffering from “brain fog” and inflammatory issues caused by the virus. We use an OxyHealth Vitaeres 320 chamber, which is large enough for two adults. We also use an oxygen concentrator with our chamber to increase effectiveness. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, and most patients see results within one to three sessions.

Home Exercises

We believe in giving the power back to the patient. Whether you are an athlete looking to increase performance, you’ve experienced an injury, or you’re simply…
First, we will complete a thorough assessment to make sure you are approved to begin exercises. Then we will give you an individualized plan tailored to your areas of pain and your goals for improvement. We will never give you a sheet of paper with a dozen generic exercises to sort through. Whether you want to be able to run several miles without knee pain, or have the mobility to lift your arm over your head and get dressed without that “ouch” moment, we customize the program to your exact needs. Our goal is to increase flexibility, mobility, strength, and ultimately, help our patients move with confidence, free from fear and restriction.
