Dr. Dwayne Golbek, a Tulsa area native, received his doctorate of chiropractic from the Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO. While completing his doctorate, Dr. Golbek received a M.S. in Sports Science and Rehabilitation, graduating Magna Cum Laude in his class. He graduated with his B.S. in kinesiology and exercise science from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where he was a proud member of the Razorback Track and Field Team. Raised in Claremore, OK, Dr. Golbek began competing in the high jump and was a member of the USA World Youth Championships Team, placing 10th in the World. During his time at the U of A, he was a part of six SEC championships and one national championship. Dr. Golbek is an NCAA All-American high jumper himself. Training and competing at this level took a toll on his body leaving him with lower back pain that radiated all the way to his left foot. Chiropractic treatment became instrumental in getting him back into competition form, inspiring him to pursue a career as a sports chiropractor himself. Today, Dr. Golbek is a weightlifting enthusiast and enjoys rock climbing and disc golfing in his free time. Dr. Golbek is a certified strength and conditioning specialist; he loves incorporating this specialty along with his background in sports science and rehabilitation to help people achieve and enjoy a pain free active lifestyle.
